Perhaps you've seen sailboats racing on the tube and want to feel the
excitement yourself. Ever wanted to learn how to sail away from the
dock? Hoist the jib and main? Tack and jibe? We can teach you
all this and more! Are you confused with sailing terminology?
Not sure when to slacken the sheet or head up? After a sail with us you will leave with more
than an expanded vocabulary and a whole new appreciation for sailing.
You'll be able to impress your friends with your sailing prowess! We offer
sailing lessons on the 18' Typhoon, the 21' Luders,
and the 26' Pearson
Commanders.
NOTE: All sailing instruction charters are a minimum of three
hours and we charge for the boat and captain, not per person!
The Boats
 | The Cape
Dory Typhoon is a 18' stout, full keel daysailer that is a pure joy to
sail. She has the size of a small boat but the feel of a comfortable
keel boat. Quiet 4-stroke Honda outboard equipped. |
| The Luders 21 is
light and lively, yet easy to control. Few
people can sail this boat without grinning! She is not equipped with an
engine, she is perfect for sailing away from the dock. Fin keel with bulb,
narrow and sleek, "Mergus" or "Gus" for short will surely
win your heart! The spacious cockpit will seat four adults
comfortably. "Gus" will be our primary training boat. |
| The Commander
is a 26' full keel boat. With a 9' long cockpit there
is plenty of room for the whole crew to enjoy the trip. This boat is
fast, stable, and requires very little effort to sail. She'll build
your confidence in no time! Quiet 4-stroke outboard equipped. |
